Hello Tumblykins,
I know I’ve really dropped the ball on Fitz and Giggles, but I’m going to keep it all going under one tumblr now… When you get a moment follow me on Fitzlikeaglove!

Brellies & Wellies:
OMG you guys! I came out of work today and the skies were about to open up for a crazy summer storm in the Loop. Lucky for me I brought my raincoat and umbrella to work today. Unlucky for me was that as I sprinted in a full on down pour from the L to my apartment, I realized that my cute leopard raincoat from London was really more aesthetic than practical and my umbrella was broken. Additionally, my sandals filled up with water as I encountered unavoidable puddles.
Finally dry and tucked in my bed, I sipped on a glass of pinot grigio while I watched the news -trying to block out the tornado siren blaring outside (eeeek!) While I did this I was thinking about how many people were ill prepared for this evening’s weather - including myself. So I started searching for new brellies and wellies to combat the next midwest squall.
Look at all the cute stuff I found. I’m certain that most of the umbrellas would break in one gust of Chicago wind, but I don’t know if I can resist! Which ones are your faves? Help me choose!

Health Things: The Good Belly
Ok. I don’t know if any of you have tried any probiotic products like yogurt or flavored drinks, but sometimes they don’t taste that ideal. Today when I was shopping at my main man Whole Foods I saw the mango flavored Good Belly drink and I couldn’t pass it up.
I tend to buy things based on trends and that doesn’t omit foods. If you think food trends don’t exist- you are wrong. Examples would be mini foods, cupcakes, comfort foods, pork belly etc. So since probiotics are hitting the health scene pretty hard I was drawn to that and the bold packaging. Straight into the cart.
My impulse buy may seem a little crazy, but I did make a good health choice. Probiotics are super good for you. They help with lactose intolerance, digestion, immune system, lower the pH in the intestines…so many more things. The great thing about Good Belly is that you get the benefits of probiotics with 20 billion live and active cultures in every serving along with other vitamins and minerals.
Aside from the benefits of Good Belly- it really does taste great. At least the mango does. The drink comes in five flavors: Mango, Cranberry Watermelon, Black Currant, Blueberry Acai, and Pomegrante Blueberry.
The website guarantees that you’ll feel better after drinking Good Belly for 12 days. They ask consumers to sign up for the 12 day challenge…you know what I’ll do it…fine. I’m not certain a couple glasses of white wine at dinner will help with the results, but we shall see. Check out the website if you are interested in taking the challenge too:

A cover by Passion Pit of the song “dreams” by the cranberries.
They played this as part of the encore.
Very interesting, I like it a lot.
Great cover! Super hot jam.
Love the Major Lazer edition to the dancin’ baby!
Sashay, chambray!
I need to get a chambray button-down and so do you. Chambray comes in all shades of blue and is a great summer look. Chambray button-downs can have a very Ralph Lauren cover girl look or you can work some edgy accessories and pair with white pants, black pants, or a darker shade of denim shorts/pants.Denim on denim makes me a little bit nauseous to be honest, but I think since the chambray isn’t really denim- the look can be pulled off. You’ll look like such a hipster. How exciting is that?
I just want to put on Ru Paul’s Supermodel and dance and sing, “I have one thing to say chambray, chambray, chambray, chambray, chambray, chambray, chambray…” Ok those aren’t the words.

Although I love E&J, from my days working at Intermix, I’m pretty into the button-downs from J.Crew and Tory Burch that I showed above. Downsides are they are super expensivo and the J.Crew one is sold out all over the place. Not my jam. I’m certain you can find this trend popping up at less expensive locations. Let me know if you do and where! That’s all loverkins!
